Burns to make his return to racing at Dundrod

Darren Burns had been out yesterday Tuesday at Nutts Corner Testing various machines ahead of next months Ulster Grand Prix in which he hopes to compete pending medical clearance for injuries he had received earlier in the season at the North West 200.

Burns speaking from his home in Lisburn after yesterdays test said:

 “I managed to cope with the bikes very well although I’m still a bit stiff and sore, I was very happy after the test and was able to cope very well, and I am very much looking forward till riding at the Ulster my home race. As for the rest of the season I might have a possible run out at The Sunflower ”.

 

The Lisburn rider hopes to have his first outing at Dundrod which will be on the Thursday in the Dundrod 150 races were he hopes to compete in the 125 cc race onboard the H&T Transport 125 Honda, Then on the Saturday Burns will ride the C4 Racing / BT 80 ZX10 Kawasaki in the larger classes and also hopes to compete in the 250 class on the H&T Transport 250 CC Honda, Burns is hopeful of a 600 ride also.
